Farewell For Now Master

I was a seedling
And you watered me with wisdom
A defenseless warrior was I also
And yet you accepted me into your queendom

I was little and ignorant
And the world is in my arms
While you were wat’ring me with so much knowledge
You were also shielding me from harm

Now master I have to go
For I shall plant a garden into a battlefield
And the crops and flowers that will grow
The children of tomorrow are those who will yield

I’ll leave you now but I say in time
When I fill this world with endless hue
A master I will become someday
But forever an apprentice I’ll be to you
